One of the most important events in the world in 2009 November, was that Mr.Obama Barak, the most attracting president, visited in China.        The grand National Day parade came to an end at Tian'anmen Square with tens of thousands of colorful balloons released to the sky Thursday noon. The whole square was turned into a carnival site of roaring applauses and cheering and the backdrop slogan "Long live the People's Republic of China" becomes more eye-catching. Chinese Party and State leaders on the Tian'anmen Rostrum were waving to the rapturous youngsters, who were jumping and cheering and reluctant to leave the square.   Listening to a very sad funeral music at 14:28 this afternoon, I was so touched when I mourned the earthquake victims of Wnchuan, Sichuan province of Southwest China. It’s so hard for me to imagine why so many people suffered such a huge in minutes. But that is true. According to newly statistics of State Department of PRC (till 4.p.m May 19), there are 34073 people killed, and 245108 people injured in the strong earthquake-hit. And It is said that there are still 5260 people buried under the ruins. Further more, a lot of buildings collapsed and roads and other public facilities were destroyed.

What a large tragedy for China! Yep, 2008 is an unlucky year for China. In the first month of the year, we suffered a strong snow storm, which caused a few railways and airports had to be closed and 2 million passengers were resorted in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong, above  100 million people were hit by the natural adversity, and the loss of treasure had amounted to more than 53 billion yuan RMB. After two months, i.e, on March 14, riots was broken out in Tibet, northwest of China, and then during the period of Beijing Olympic Games torch relay, some members from TYC attempted to block the great activity. And now, a strong earthquake happened in Sichuan. However, facing so many troubles, brave and strong Chinese people weren’t downcasted.  Under the leadership of the central government of PRC, China has conquered all of the difficulties. After Wenchuan earthquake was hit at 14:28 May 12, last Tuesday afternoon, Wen Jiabao, the premier of the central government of PRC, flied to Sichuan and directed the rescue activity by himself, he stressed that all-out efforts to rescue quake victims. “we should make 100 times efforts only if there is a ray of hope to find a life ”, he said. Later, president Hu Jingtao went there too. We must say both the CPC and the central government of PRC pay attention to this rescuing, 113080 PLA men and policemen were sent to participate in the rescue. And many rescuers were very brave and unselfish, they tried their best to save people under the ruins with high spirit, they always said no-giving up saving lives. Affected by the government, Chinese people presented unprecedented unitive.Some people voluntarily took part in the rescue, and some foreigners even threw into the combat of the earthquake. So 33434 people have been saved from the ruins, and 52934 have been sent to hospitals for curing.

Great love always exists in a huge disaster. Indeed, Wencjuan earthquake has aroused the love of human including home and abroad. The people all over the world contributed funds so as to help the people living in the disaster area rebuild houses. The Founds has received 10834 million yuan totally till Monday, May 19, 2008.

Besides, the central government also desided to begin three-day national mourning for the tens of thousands of people killed in a powerful earthquake at 14:28 from May 19 to 21. and Beijing Olympic Games torch relay would pause during the three days.Today was the first Mourning day, and China's national flag flies at half-mast after the flag-raising ceremony on Monday morning.

In a word, during the combat of earthquake, both Chinese and Foreigners composed a Chorale, let’s feel the world filled with love. I’m so glad that we human support the sky with love in helping the disaster area, and I’ve also realized that we Chinese are so strong and our country is so great.         I’ve always been hearing some news on the conflict between Israel and Lebanon since July 12. I was shocked when I was told Lebanese Air Raid on Sunday. The news said there were 51 Lebanese killed in Quna, 6 km (4 miles) from the Tyre in South Lebanon.

        UN Security Council deplored Israel's killing of Lebanese civilians, and International community condemned Israeli attacked on Qana. Someone even stated that this was a heinous event caused by humanitarian damage. In fact it is the result of the conflict between Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah. Now In’l community calls for the ceasefire.

        I know both Lebanon and Israel are the nations of strong belief in religion, and most religions advocate humanity and mercy. Why they dealed with their conflict with the force rather than did in peaceful way? Haven’t their gods such as Allah, Yahveh or God taught them the most basal religious rules? So we human still need to pilgrimage devoutly like the ancestors in the the Bible, Quran or sutra if we want to call for peace.

 

Women’s Day is coming, in China, all woman organizations are busy with various activities. Some are planing to hold song and dance performs, and some are going to travel, and the rest will take some sports matchs, such as basketball, volleyball, ping-pong ball, badminton, shooting, chinese chess, I-go, push-and-pull and so on. Among them, it is push-and-pull that is the most popular sport, because it can embody the spirit of unity for the collective power the best.        Really Women’s Day is worthy of celebrating ceremoniously. For it has become a great festival to women since the women of Chicago held bedin in 1909 so as to strive for freedom, peace and equality. I think they set a good example for paisana all over the world, especially those in countries with splendid ancient civilization. With a long history, many outdated special rules which restrict women have been created in these countries. Only if Women’s Day was established in the Second International Woman Congress on March 8th, 1910 in Copenhagan, women got to wake up to that they were treated unequally.        Man and woman form the human society, it is necessary and also has reason for female to contribute to the society. To some extent, female has some advantages.In one of her lectures, Shirley Chisholm, the first black female who was elected to the U.S House of Representatives, said, “it is women who can bring empathy, tolerance, insight, patience, and persistence to government…our country needs their idealism and determination, perhaps more in politics than anywhere else.” Indeed, women have already accomplished great business in various fields.            Chinese government also decided the day of March 8th as Women’s day. Since then Chinese women began to possess the equal right to men. They are not only houseworkers any longer like they were in the past. They can do anything they want to do. At present, the sentence which they like to say the best is “ a woman must treat herself kindly”. Maybe that is why Chinese beauty business is increasing in recent years.
